Miners Embarking on 5th Anniversary Season
Miners Offseason Watch List
Scranton, PA, October 18, 2010:
The NEPA Miners football team has made steady improvements each season, raising the standards with other top flight Semi-Professional football organizations on the East Coast to take Semi-Pro football to the next level; while also bringing back the tradition to the Scranton Wilkes-Barre area. The Miners continue to set a high standard balancing business and football in their quest to be the premier team in North East Pennsylvania (NEPA). No other Semi-Professional football team in NEPA other than the Scranton Eagles has been around for as long as the NEPA Miners preparing for their Fifth Anniversary Season. With that being said, what can Miners Fans expect in 2011?
1.) A Championship along with expanded player and coaching information for our fans online at www.nepaminers.com , for the first time the Miners will be adding a Transactions column on the site letting the fans and media know of all players’ signings and releases. The Miners are working at a fever pace behind the scenes to guarantee the fans a semi-professional championship roster in 2011.
2.) New and Improved Game Day Experience and Off Season Promotions as the Miners look to have their largest crowds yet! Many surprises in the works!
3.) The NEPA Miners realize it is about the fans and especially the kids, Every Night will be Kids Night in 2011 as all kids 12 and under will be FREE. 2011 Season Passes will be on sale starting November 1st! Also look for even more involvement with youth football organizations as we want to continue to help encourage and support youth programs throughout North East PA!
4.) The Miners will enter their second season in the Big North East Football Federation (BNEFF), the league has already discussed a Powerhouse Pennsylvania Division giving the Miners fans an action packed battle every weekend at Scranton Memorial Stadium.
5.) Look for the NEPA Miners in the Community giving back and bringing special guests to our area and also our helmet on NBC’s hit show “The Office”!
